Zander Prime was a Class M planet, and home to an intelligent, pre-technological species. The Orions established one of Orion Colonies their colonies there prior to the mid-22nd century, and began exploiting the natives, taking many off world as slaves. By the 2260s, the native population was in excess of one billion. (Star Trek: Pendragon)
- In Valen's universe, all life on Zander Prime was wiped out in 2266 when the Drakh tested the deathcloud weapon. Only a few of the natives who were off world survived.
