The planet M-11, orbited by the USS Enterprise

Yko (catalog name: M-11) was a Class M planet in the Alpha Quadrant. Beginning in the late 22nd century, it was the location of the Starbase 11, a major Federation facility. (TOS: "Court Martial", "The Menagerie, Part I"; Decipher: Starfleet Operations Manual; Star Trek: Star Charts)
The planet was locked in close orbit with a neighboring world, a large planet with an extensive ring system. Though Class M, Yko was desolate and uninhabited by the time of its discovery by human explorers. If sentient life had ever evolved there, no trace of it remained. The world was habitable, but with few native life-forms, if any. (TOS: "The Menagerie, Part I" script)
Yko and its star system were approximately two light-years from Talos IV, a journey which the USS Enterprise would take six days to travel at maximum warp in 2267. (DSC: "If Memory Serves"; TOS: "The Menagerie, Part I")
