The USS Voyager (NCC-74656) was an Intrepid-class Federation starship in service during the 24th century, under the command of Captain Kathryn Janeway. In 2371, the Voyager was transported 70,000 light-years from the Badlands to the Delta Quadrant, and spent seven years there, eventually returning to the Alpha Quadrant in 2378. After her return to Earth, all non-standard technology aboard Voyager was removed for further study by Starfleet. She was eventually decommissioned and sent to the Fleet Museum, and was on display at Athan Prime in the early 2400s. (PRO: "Supernova, Part 2"; PIC: "The Bounty")
By 2401, Voyager's legacy had been continued by another two vessels to bear the name. (PRO: "Supernova, Part 2"; PIC: "The Next Generation")
