By 2390, the Challenger was commanded by Captain Geordi La Forge, who remained in command at least until 2411. (VOY: "Timeless", Star Trek Online)
Nog served aboard the Challenger at some point during La Forge's command, before accepting his own promotion to captain by 2395. (TNG novel: Indistinguishable from Magic; What We Left Behind; Star Trek: Pendragon)
