The Path Beyond 2409 is the official version of the Star Trek Online timeline used for Star Trek: Pendragon. Though STO has been running for over 10 years, the many missions and main events of the game's present day are said to take place within span of less than three years, between January 2409 and January 2411. That compressed dating scheme is both illogical and impossible, so the Pendragon creative team extrapolated their own version of the timeline, set at a more reasonable pace.
This timeline lays out the relative order of events in the world of STO for the purposes of Pendragon continuity, expanding the 25 months of time "in game" to a more reasonable seven years or so. Not everything in STO is "canon" for the Pendragon, but all STO story content is included on this timeline, for the sake of a complete reference point. Individual Pendragon stories will mostly reflect these dates, though some which take place solely within the game's continuity will inevitably adhere more closely to the game's official dates.
