Star Trek: Pendragon Wiki

Starbase 7 was a Federation starbase in Sector 006, and the closest Starfleet outpost to Andoria. One of the oldest such installations, it had planetary, orbital, and space facilities, including an asteroid base which had served as an Earth outpost during the 2150s. The starbase was also close to Alpha Centauri and functioned as a supply base for starships patrolling the Romulan Neutral Zone. (TOS novel: Crisis on Centaurus; LUG: The Andorians: Among the Clans; PRM novel: Fire with Fire; TOS novel: Where Sea Meets Sky; DSC: "An Obol for Charon")

As Starlfeet's command base for the Andor sector, officers of the Andorian Imperial Guard and Andorian Defense Force were often assigned to the station as liaisons. The station was also a hub for both the Federation Diplomatic Corps and Starfleet Intelligence. (LUG: Template:The Andorians: Among the Clans; FASA: Star Fleet Intelligence Manual)

During the 2250s, Dr. Leonard McCoy was assigned to Starbase 7, where he treated personnel from the USS Farragut injured in a pirate attack, including a young Ensign James T. Kirk. (TOS novel: Crisis on Centaurus)

The starbase's main orbital facility received a series of major upgrades between the late 2260s and mid-2280s. (TOS comic: The Chosen, "Rest and Recreation!")

In 2269, the USS Enterprise docked at Starbase 7 for repairs and shore leave after providing assistance to the relief effort following a terrorist bombing on Centaurus. (TOS novel: Crisis on Centaurus)

Lieutenant John Paxton was born and raised on Starbase 7 in the mid-24th century. (PRM novel: Fire with Fire)
