Starbase 105 was a Federation starbase in the Canopus Core region of the Beta Quadrant, near the Federation's tripartite borders with the Klingon and Romulan Star Empires. In 2366, it was the closest Starfleet facility to the Archer system. (TNG: "Yesterday's Enterprise"; Star Trek: Star Charts)
In 2374, the USS Enterprise-E stopped at Starbase 105 to take on new crewmembers, including chief of security Lieutenant Rhea McAdams. (TNG novel: Immortal Coil)
