The Pandrilites were a humanoid species native to the planet Pandril, a member of the United Federation of Planets. Considered "bulky" by humans, they had blue skin, oversized heads, long-fingered hands, and "intelligent eyes."
Pandrilites were known to serve in Starfleet. One, Vigo, was weapons officer aboard the USS Stargazer. He was killed at Maxia Zeta in 2355. (TNG: "The Battle"; TNG novel: Reunion)
Amitra served as President of the United Federation of Planets from 2364 to 2368. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)
- The Pandrilites were created by Star Trek novelist Michael Jan Friedman, and were eventually used by other authors as well.
