Mesquad was a planet in the Demilitarized Zone between the Cardassian Union and the United Federation of Planets. It was the site of a Cardassian colony.
During the later part of the Dominion War, the Jem'Hadar exterminated the Cardassian population of Mesquad, though some refugees managed to escape. (DS9 novel: The Never-Ending Sacrifice)
