The position of the Lembatta Cluster in the Beta Quadrant

The Lembata Cluster was a region of space in the Beta Quadrant, a stellar cluster comprised mainly of large, ancient red giants. It lay along the borders of the United Federation of Planets and Klingon Empire, not far off the Rigel Highway. Several sapient species were native to the area, including the isolationist Renao. A few worlds in the Cluster, such as Lembatta Prime, were Federation members. (Star Trek: Star Charts; Star Trek: Prometheus: Fire with Fire, The Root of All Rage)
In 2366, the IKS DevraD destroyed a pirate fleet that was preying on the region. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 3: Ships of the Klingon Empire)
During the Federation-Klingon War in 2373, the Nebula-class starship USS Farragut was destroyed by Klingon vessels while en route to Ajilon Prime. (DS9: "Nor the Battle to the Strong")
