Star Trek: Pendragon Wiki

The Kavrot sector, also known as Sector 798-C, was a region in the Beta Quadrant. In the 24th century, it was a frontier sector beyond space charted by the Klingon Empire, away from any other known interstellar powers.

In 2376, Chancellor Martok ordered that the sector should be fully charted and explored, in search of new resources for the Empire following the Dominion War. The IKS Gorkon and several other new Qang-class vessels were assigned to the sector fleet, which was under the command of General Talak.

At that time, the sector was home to few sentient species, most of which were pre-warp societies. Among them were the Brenlekki and the Children of San-Tarah. One warp capable culture was known to hail from the region, the Elabrej Hegemony, though until that point, they had never encountered another intelligent species.

There was evidence that more advanced beings had lived in, or at least visited the region in the past. Subspace eddies around San-Tarah were the result of an ancient battle fought with subspace weaponry, though the combatants were not native to the world and otherwise unknown. (GKN novel: A Good Day to Die, et. al)

In 2380, the Klingons allowed a group of Remans to found a colony on Klorgat IV, an uninhabted planet in the sector. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)

The USS Titan passed through the Kavrot sector en route to the uncharted Canis Major region. (TTN novel: Over a Torrent Sea)
