Juhraya was a Class M planet in the Soltok system in the Alpha Quadrant, and the site of a Federation colony. In 2370, it fell into the newly-established Demilitarized Zone between the United Federation of Planets and the Cardassian Union. The Maquis maintained a strong presence there.
While undercover, Ro Laren was taken to Juhraya by the Maquis, and befriended Macias there. It was his death in a Cardassian raid that led to Ro deciding to switch sides and truly become a Maquis. (TNG: "Preemptive Strike")
