Interplanetary Expeditions (often abbreviated as IPX) was a corporation specializing in archaeological research, especially in the interests of seeking out advanced technologies from ancient worlds and extinct civilizations. The company was founded in the early 22nd century as a subsidiary of Brack Interplanetary. Its slogan was "Exploring the past to create a better future."
In the mid-23rd century, IPX sponsored digs on several worlds, including Anfras, Alpha Omega III, Ceti IV and Ikkara VII. (Star Trek: Pendragon)
