Inaieu was a king from Deneb V, a prominent figure in Denebian history. In the 23rd and 24th centuries, several Federation starships would be named for him. (TOS novel: My Enemy, My Ally; PIC: "Vóx")
- Coming from Deneb V, Inaieu was presumably a Klaha, but might have been from another Denebian species.

- Inaieu was mentioned in Diane Duane's novel My Enemy, My Ally when the USS Enterprise crew teamed up with the all-Denebian crew of the USS Inaieu (NCC-2003). Dave Blass, production designer for Star Trek: Picard honored Duane's work by naming one of the Frontier Day fleet ships after the vessel, the Sovereign-class USS Inaieu (NCC-75018).
