The Enclave was a spaceport and settlement which lent its name to a planet in neutral space in the Alpha Quadrant, near the Pinchot Expanse, and not far from the borders of the Ferengi Alliance and the United Federation of Planets.
The Enclave was a haven for criminals, and those that wanted to disappear. By 2364, the Core was expanding its operations in the area, and had established a presence at the Enclave.
