During his life, Fitzgerald journeyed around the Orion Colonies and experienced many aspects of Orion culture. He wrote of these experiences in Spacing to Byzantium: Travels in the Orion Colonies, published in the early 2240s by Imprimerie de Sorbonne Neue in Cleante, New Paris.
