The Dorvan sector was a region of space in the Alpha Quadrant of the Milky Way Galaxy, much of which was under the control of the Cardassian Union, though a smaller portion was held by the United Federation of Planets. The also contained a large portion of the Federation-Cardassian Demilitarized Zone during the 2370s. It was bordered by the Almatha, Bajor, Betazed, and Kalandra sectors.
