The Deneva sector (GQCS designation: Sector 25712), or simply Sector 12, was a region of space in the Beta Quadrant, part of the core territory of the United Federation of Planets. Star systems in the sector included Deneva and the Gamma 400 system, the location of Starbase 12. The region was bordered by the Orion, Risa and Kandari sectors. The Rigel Highway passed through the sector. The Mutara sector could be reached in roughly three days by that route. (Star Trek: Pendragon; Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)
