Star Trek: Pendragon Wiki

Decipher, Inc. is a game-publishing company, known for producing the How to Host a Murder series of party games. From 1994 to 1997, they produced the Star Trek Customizable Card Game (ST:CCG). After Last Unicorn Games was acquired by Wizards of the Coast in 2000, Decipher acquired the Star Trek RPG license, and published their Star Trek Roleplaying Game from 2000 to 2003.

Decipher shut down its RPG division in 2003, but they digitally released two completed-but-unprinted supplements for the game in 2005. Following the last Decipher releases, no licensed Star Trek roleplaying game would be produced until the 2017, when Mōdiphiüs Entertainment launched the current (as of 2021) Star Trek Adventures RPG.

Many of the writers for Last Unicorn's Trek RPG contributed to the Decipher version, and good deal of the earlier material was rewritten and adapted to fit Decipher's license and CODA rules system. Conversions from LUG's ICON system to CODA were devised, and a number of fan-created supplements have also been written and released online.

Star Trek: Pendragon adapts elements from the Decipher and LUG games, among other Star Trek RPGs, for use in both Star Trek Adventures gameplay and in fiction. Some of these sourcebooks will have pages on this wiki, but more detailed information on all the titles can be found at Memory Alpha, Memory Beta and other sites.
