Star Trek: Pendragon Wiki

Chi Draconis VII was a planet in the Chi Draconis system in the Alpha Quadrant. It had once been home to the Minbari civilization, who had gone extinct at least a thousand years prior to the 2260s.

Originally Class M, the planet had possessed a cold climate, with around one quarter of the surface covered by the northern polar ice cap. It had extensive crystalline deposits, and many cities had been carved directly from the crystal structures. The planet had two moons, and had an orbital period of 475 days, with a rotation of 20 hours and 47 minutes. The planet's landmass mainly consisted of a few continents with large peninsulas, broken up by expansive seas, with long, dense archipelagos.

However, the planet suffered some kind of cataclysm around the 13th century, causing a mass extinction event, and rendering it uninhabitable for many centuries. By the 23rd century, the atmosphere had recovered enough to sustain humanoid life once again, though the planet was marginally Class L.

The Federation established an archaeological expedition on the planet circa 2245, excavating the ruins of the ancient crystalline cities. (Star Trek: Pendragon; Star Trek: Star Charts)

In Valen's universe, the planet was known as Minbar, and was home to the still-vibrant Minbari civilization in the 23rd century.
