Ceti IV was a Class M planet in the Kappa 1 Ceti system, approximately 30 light years from Sol. It had once been home to an advanced civilization that had gone extinct some 10,000 years before the 23rd century.
In 2267, Dr. Max Eilerson of Interplanetary Expeditions led an archaeological dig to Ceti IV, and discovered the ruins of one of the planet's ancient, abandoned underground cities. (Star Trek: Pendragon)
