This category encompasses all sentient biological species. This page is a top level category for lists of species types. Species should also be listed in subcategories for the appropriate biological classification (humanoid, non-humanoid, animal or plant, etc.) and, if applicable, geographical location (ie Alpha and Beta Quadrant species, Gamma Quadrant species, Delta Quadrant species and Extragalactic species, etc.) Articles belonging to Category:Animals or Category:Plants should not be included in this category.
