The Carina Nebula was a large and diffuse emission nebula in the Beta Quadrant of the Milky Way, deep within the Shackleton Expanse. It was four times as large and much brighter than the Orion Nebula.
The Seku system was located in the nebula. (Star Trek Adventures: "Signals")
- The real Carina Nebula is located 8,500 light-years from Earth, much farther than intended by the STA mission.
