Ashkaar, son of K'sten was a 23nd century Klingon male, who served House Mo'kai during the 2250s. He was a member of the House of Kossith, which had secretly been founded by time displaced temporal agents from the 28th century, and who passed down their legacy and mission to their descendants.
As with his forebears, he was educated by the monks on Boreth, inducted into their order, and was privy to their secret knowledge of temporal mechanics.
Following his House's secret mission, Ashkaar took part in the assault on Starbase 1 in 2257, fighting under the banner of House Mo'kai. When Matriarch J'Ula used her mycelium superweapon during the battle, he was aboard one of the vessels accidentally transported to the 25th century. After his arrival in 2414, he contacted Klingon Temporal Intelligence, informed them of his mission and began operating as an undercover agent of the Temporal Defense Initiative.
In 2416, Ashkhaar was present when Chancellor J'mpok used the mycelium weapon on Khitomer, framing J'Ula and sparking a Klingon Civil War. He then spent months with J'Ula, Martok and other Khitomer Alliance personnel on the run, working alongside Adet'pa to uncover J'mpok's plot. (Star Trek Online)
