The Andromeda class was a type of Federation starship in service during the early 25th century. Classified as an exploration cruiser, it was an upgraded variant of the Galaxy-class starships of the previous century.
In the 2410s, the Andromeda-class USS Birmingham was under the command of Admiral Kebret. (Star Trek Online: mission: "The Ninth Rule")
