Achernar II (also called Alpha Eridani II, or Atlai'fehill Kre to the Romulans) was the second planet of the Achernar star system, and a sister world to Achernar Prime.
A Class M world, Achernar II was colonized by Earth during the early 22nd century. In 2156, however, the colony was evacuated due to the encroaching action of the Earth-Romulan War. Before and during the evacuation, the Redjac entity was responsible for the murders of ten women in the city of Heliopolis.
The Romulan Star Empire subsequently took the planet, and it remained in their hands well into the 25th century. (TOS: "Wolf in the Fold"; ENT novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wing)
