- 13 May (stardate 85365.28): Sela is crowned Empress of the Romulan Star Empire. At her coronation, she calls for a return to the traditions of old and swears a blood oath to uphold and preserve the Empire with her life. - In late September, Starfleet loses contact with Starbase 236 and sends the USS Enterprise-E to investigate. The ship follows an Undine fleet through a rift into fluidic space, and is destroyed. Most of the crew survives, and is able to return to normal space. (STO: 236 The Path to 2409)
- Events are likely different in Pendragon continuity, as Data was in command of the Enterprise at this time in STO.
