- Feeling abandoned by Praetor Taris, Kevratas declares its independence from the Romulan Star Empire. Taris orders Tebok to put down the insurrection by force. Tebok refuses, and instead brings a delegation from Kevratas to Rator III for negotiations. Taris tries to have Tebok removed from command of the military, but is overruled by the Senate. - Hassan the Undying returns to the "original Orion homeworld in the Rigel system" and establishes his main base of operations there. (STO: The Path to 2409)
- The IKS Kang decloaks just long enough to send a message to Qo'noS, in which Captain Ja'rod declares that he is assuming leadership of the House of Duras, and pledging himself to restore his family honor. The Kang cloaks again, but its heading indicates it is on course for Gorn space. (STO: The Path to 2409)

- In this year, Captain Geordi La Forge is given command of the USS Challenger, a Galaxy-class starship. (STO: The Path to 2409)
- This event may have happened earlier or later in Pendragon continuity, depending on whether Geordi returned to active duty with Starfleet before or after the first year of Star Trek: Picard and the lifting of the synth ban. In the alternate timeline of VOY: "Timeless", he was already in command of Challenger in 2390.
- In the same timeline, Commander Nog is assigned to succeed La Forge as chief engineer of the USS Enterprise-E. (STO: The Path to 2409)
- If Nog ever held this post, it must have been before his promotion to Captain, a post he held before 2395.
