- Upon receiving an urgent request for help from his former crewmate Thirishar ch'Thane, Dr. Julian Bashir gathers medical professionals from Starfleet and across the Federation together, under the guise of a medical conference, but actually to develop and refine a cure for the Andorians' condition from the Taurus meta-genome, in contravention of Federation policy. Bashir defies Starfleet orders, resigns his commission and delivers the cure to Andor, where he is granted asylum. Parliament Andoria undergoes a change in leadership as the previously Tholian-backed government crumbles and a progressive coalition is formed, which initiates the process of returning to the Federation. (Star Trek: The Fall novel: A Ceremony of Losses)

The Path to 2409[]
- In the Federation, with no significant recorded contact with the Borg Collective for several years, Starfleet shuts down its Borg task force after analysts reach the conclusion that the USS Voyager must have dealt them a worse blow in 2377 than first believed. Many in the fleet, including Seven of Nine, believe this to be a grave error. (STO: The Path to 2409)
- 25 March (stardate 62230.13): The Klingon Empire announces that it is expelling all non-Klingon residents of Khitomer and the conquered border worlds as "a safety measure." The Empire initially gives a deadline of 14 days, but Chancellor Martok agrees to extend the deadline after speaking with Captain Worf of the USS Enterprise. (STO: The Path to 2409)
- In the original STO timeline, Picard was still in command of the Enterprise-E and was the one who spoke with Martok.
- The USS Enterprise-E enters drydock at San Francisco Fleet Yards for a year-long refit. (Star Trek Online: The Path to 2409)
- In the original STO timeline, the refit was performed at Utopia Planitia.
- Later, Captain Worf also resigns his commission, believing that he can better serve both the Federation and the Empire in a diplomatic role, and returns to Qo'noS in an effort to preserve an alliance that grows more fragile by the day. After taking up residence on Qo'noS, Ambassador Worf begins a relationship with Lady Grilka. (STO: The Path to 2409)
- Beverly Crusher, the last of the original Enterprise-D command staff still serving aboard the Enterprise-E, requests reassignment. Accepting a promotion to captain, she assumes command of the USS Pasteur. (STO: The Path to 2409)
- After Starfleet disbands its Borg research task force in order to redeploy those resources elsewhere, Seven of Nine, too, leaves the fleet. She briefly considers accepting a position at the Daystrom Institute, but rejects the notion as she considers the Institute too beholden to Federation policy. Instead, she joins the Fenris Rangers. (STO: The Path to 2409, PIC: "Stardust City Rag")

Misdated events[]
- 14 February (stardate 62121.3): Aboard the USS Odyssey in the Andromeda Galaxy, Captain Ro Nevin releases Subcommander T'Lorra from confinement in the brig. (ODY: "Tossed Upon the Shore")
- The stardate given for this log entry would place it before "On the Knees of the Gods", the episode which ended with the beginning of T'Lorra's three-week confinement, which took place exactly one year to the day after the destruction of the wormhole.
