Background[]
- Placement of Insurrection is conjectural, though during the "lull" in the war after The Battle of Betazed and before the Breen make their strike on Earth, with a long enough gap in his scenes on DS9 for Worf to be involved, a period somewhat concurrent with "It's Only a Paper Moon" and "Prodigal Daughter" seems likely.
- Stardates for this year are rare in DS9, and atypically out of sequence. For the final arc, only the consistent beginning ("Penumbra") and ending ("The Dogs of War", "What You Leave Behind") stardates are used to determine placement. The timing of the intermediate episodes is determined by other internal references to time lapses.
