- A Romulan bird-of-prey destroys the Federation's Yeager Outpost in Epsilon sector. The USS Montana responds and engages the hostile ship. Both vessels are presumed destroyed. In reality, they are flung forward in time seventy-two years. (Star Trek: The Continuing Mission: "Ghost Ship")
